Services
The objective of FCIM is to facilitate the improved physical, spiritual, environmental and economic health of communities in Kenya, Africa, Guyana, South America and impoverished areas in the US. Our major focus is improving health care and quality of life in communities lacking the basic necessities for daily living. Bringing volunteers to aid in health care, provide medical equipment and supplies to these impoverished communities around the world and working side-by-side with local citizens on projects.
Our aim is to implement safe and effective treatment options for healthcare. Our specific objectives are:
- Set up free clinics for the residents,
- Provide diagnostic assessment and counseling,
- Evaluate and provide free medical healthcare and health education to the clients,
- Improve health care among disadvantaged communities in East Africa, Guyana and the US by helping residents establish their own self-sustaining health systems,
- Adjust the clinic to meet specific needs identified in the community,
- The clinic also serves as a teaching aid for medical staff in training,
- FCIM works with the local hospitals and other mission organizations.
- Provide the necessary equipment for testing and health diagnostics,
- Distribute prescription and over-the-counter medications at the discretion of the doctors based on the client’s diagnostic evaluation,
- Provide effective medication to halt and begin to reverse the spread of malaria and other major diseases in Kenya.
- Drill wells to provide a permanent source of uncontaminated water and sanitation systems.
- Provide clean and safe drinking water,
- Eliminate water-related diseases,
- Decrease the time and distance it takes to transport water.
- Perform health seminars,
- Provide group or individual patient counseling sessions,
- Train community leaders in programs that will be useful for projects and future initiatives,
- Train families on the principles of health and hygiene,
- Donate laptop computers to schools to facilitate communication and provide them with easier access to information
Without generous supporters like you, none of these programs are possible, and thousands of people would be unable to break the devastating cycle of poverty.
"It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself." Ralph Waldo Emerson
